e-Pencil 3 - Photoshop Scripts to create Pencil Sketches and Drawings
This Art Script effect turns an image into a realistic pencil drawing. The shading texture areas, produced from the darker tones of the image, are defined and realistic pencil strokes. e-Pencil 3 has two texture layers, thicker and thinner strokes. This script also contains a defined line layer and a thicker line effect simulating a quicker drawing style.

Below are samples of web sized online images. This script works best on landscapes and objects. Best suited for images where the subject is large in the frame and surrounded with light and simple backgrounds. Like our actions, you vary the effect by changing the opacity of the different effect layers.

This Script creates a layered PSD file. The layered verions allows for changes to the layer opacities that alter the density, contrast, texture and effect, as well as including a "paintable" color layer.
