The beginning of most art starts by seeing beyond the object in front of you. Imagination turns the object that is in front of you into a piece of the canvas. Some of the resources listed here are ones we've run across and have found invaluable for sparking our imagination and testing our theories of art. We regularly buy images from Dreamstime for our other endeavors. Both on and off the Pencil Pixels site we have found them to be an inexpensive alternative to higher cost photo stock houses with a comparable number of images and quality. 227 million images and growing.
Free images are an added benefit. A number of images which display effects on our site come from the free image section of Dreamstime. By registering, (free with the link above), you can get access to a large number of free high res images - Thousands and increasing daily.
